Accelerators can be a great launching step for startups to help founders take their company to the next level. These programs provide founders and their teams with mentorship, introductions to entrepreneurs who have been in their shoes before and, often, connections to an investor network.
Below you’ll find accelerator programs in the Northeast that you’ll want to check out - and apply to - if you feel they’re a good fit for your startup!
Social Impact at CIC Massachusetts
The Cambridge Innovation Center is opening applications for their Massachusetts Social Impact Cohort, supported through funding by the Minority Business Development Agency.
This accelerator program is created for and with underrepresented founders in mind, specifically for founders in growth stages with businesses based in Massachusetts. The program provides 6-months of programming plus an additional 3 months of free membership at the CIC, 24/7 access to the CIC Innovation Campus, and an expanded network of potential mentors, investors and business contacts.

Venture Lane Studio
Venture Lane Studio helps B2B software startups find traction and repeatable success. They work with these startups to find go-to-market success, efficient operating systems and fundraising. They concentrate on 2-4 companies at a time, in each cohort.
The program is 3.5 months long and connects you with over 2,000 B2B founders, mentors and investors. They are currently accepting applications for their next cohort.

DREAM Venture Labs International Student Entrepreneur Accelerator
Their mission is to provide international students with the resources and support necessary to thrive in the world of entrepreneurship. The program comes with a fee of $1,200 upon acceptance, is part time (2 hours per week for 10-weeks) and flexible, you can be both virtual and in-person in Boston.
During the program, you’ll receive mentorship, legal support, weekly classes, a network of fellow entrepreneurs and investors and a global community of diverse like-minded international student entrepreneurs.

Techstars Boston Accelerator
This program has been running over over 10 years and leverages the Boston ecosystem to accelerate the growth of startups. Through their program, Techstars provides funding and fundraising opportunities, workshops and curated resources and a global community.
Techstars Boston runs three months and focuses on three areas: growing your network, hitting milestones and raising funding.

EforAll Accelerator
The Accelerator is a free, one-year program offered twice a year in EforAll communities. This program provides immersive business training, mentorship and access to an extended professional network. All founders - both with an idea and in the early stages - is encouraged to apply.
As for commitment during this year, accelerator classes are held on Tuesdays from 5:30-8:30 pm and Thursdays from 11-1 pm. Classes will be a mix of online and in-person.

Dirigo Labs Accelerator
This 16-week accelerator program is for visionary founders who disrupt the status quo in Maine. The program dives into customer discovery methodologies, revenue models, sales, employment law, fundraising and pitch refinement - and is open to all stages and all industries.

Founder Institute - Boston
This 15-week program splits cohorts into "Launch Track" or "Growth Track," depending on the stage of your business. There is a fee to apply - but it's discounted until December 10, 2023.

Entrepreneurs Roundtable Accelerator
This is New York City’s largest accelerator program - applications for their Winter 2024 program are now open for their four-month program. ERA invests $150,000 on a post-money SAFE in return for 6% of each company. The program provides mentorship, fundraising, a community and a demo day, along with numerous other benefits.

MassRobotics Accelerator
This 13-week long in-person program based in Boston empowers the next generation of robotic startups through non-dilutive funding, custom tailored curriculum and personalized mentorship.

ACCEL - Greentown Labs
Through this accelerator program, you'll receive $25,000 of non-dilutive grant funding, mentorship, co-working space and workshops to help you scale your startup. This program was created for BIPOC climatech enterepreneurs.

M2D2 IMPACT Accelerator
This is a 12-week accelerator program that aims to advance early-stage companies looking to reshape the future of innovation. During this program, mentors are matched 1:1 to participants to share commercialization insights and guidance. The first 11 weeks of this programs are virtual and end with an in-person pitch and networking event.

Softeq Venture Studio
This is a 3-month accelerator program providing you access to mentors, investors, resources, discounted coworking space and more. If accepted into the program, you will receive a $125,000 investment in cash and in-kind services for 2-3% equity.

Their 12-week accelerator program is designed for deep-tech startups. The program provides you with mentors, a global network, support resources and much more - additionally, they take zero equity in your startup and charge no program fees.
