Celebrate Startup Milestones: Issue #19

This is why we’re so excited to celebrate some amazing startups - such as Reggora, Bellen’s More Than Peach Project, Frase, Rendever, Zaar, Pangea.app, and Radian. Let’s check out what they’ve accomplished.


Reggora

Reggora’s two-sided platform for mortgage lenders and appraisal vendors streamlines the entire appraisal process to shorten turn times and upgrade the experience for everyone involved.

Pangea.app

Date posted: March 6th | Company location: Providence, RI


Pangea.app connects companies with college students (Pangeans) for freelance projects. Their marketplace allows companies to communicate directly to students, pay via a payment gateway that takes care of 1099s, and rate their performance to promote accountability.

Bellen’s More Than Peach Project

The mission of More than Peach is to foster leadership, empathy, and curiosity of kids everywhere in innovative ways.


Milestone:

Their founder, Bellen Woodard, was named this year’s Legacy Award Recipient by Jack and Jill of America Foundation. She is the youngest recipient of this award.

Zaar

Date posted: March 2nd | Company location: Providence, RI


Zaar is simple to use: Students list items for sale, and buyers make offers. Once an item is purchased, the buyer can select a pickup time, and the seller typically leaves the merchandise on their doorstep, ensuring a contact-free exchange. Sellers can also forgo the process altogether by bringing their products to the founders of Zaar, located on the Brown University campus, to sell for them.


Milestone:

Has amassed 400 users and completed 50 purchases across the platform. Read all about it right here.


Frase

The first Answer Engine Optimization platform. Frase improves SEO and drives conversion by using your website content to answer your visitors' questions.


Milestone:

They hired their first customer success manager.

Rendever

Date posted: March 6th | Company location: Somerville, MA


Rendever is overcoming social isolation through the power of virtual reality and shared experiences. From senior living communities to hospitals, their platform is being used to reduce depression and loneliness by fostering personal connections amongst populations where life has become limited.


Milestone:

The startup launched their Expanding Impact program to bring their technology to individuals to help create magical moments at a time when a little magic is needed most. Read all about it right here.


Radian

Date posted: March 6th | Company location: Cambridge, MA


Radian brings functional and fashionable products to market. Their denim line raised more than $250,000 on crowdfunding and we have been scaling up since then with new products including reusable face masks.


Milestone:

The recent growth rate of Radian is in the top 1% of over one million brands on Shopify. And we couldn't agree more with this status, for obvious reasons we're sure 😉
