December 2025’s Top Startup Events in Boston

Boston’s wrapping up the year with momentum and the startup community is showing up strong. December is packed with events that bring founders, investors, students, and ecosystem builders together for everything from intentional planning to real, relationship-driven connection.


Startup Boston is kicking off the month with two community-powered experiences:



From there, the month continues with invite-only investor gatherings, student innovation mixers, career showcases, founder workshops, and scenic community hikes — all designed to help you close out the year strong and step into 2026 with real momentum.

VC Village December Holiday Edition

VC Village Holiday Edition brings together Boston’s active investors for an exclusive, invite-only networking experience. Angels, Principals, GPs, FoFs, and LPs will connect in a high-trust setting designed for real relationship-building. From Chaos to Cadence: Building a Founder Schedule That Actually Works

Cross University Student Innovators (CUSI) Mixer @ BU

Meet other entrepreneurial students at the Cross-University Innovation Mixer! This is a great opportunity to build meaningful connections with innovative and entrepreneurial students from local universities. The event is open to all backgrounds and interests — tech, arts, social impact, and more.


Museum of Science Careers of Tomorrow 

DATE: Saturday, December 6 from 9am to 4pm

The Museum of Science will be hosting an event called “Careers of Tomorrow 2025”. Its aim is to focus on supporting equitable workforce development in STEM careers. The showcase includes a job fair, mentorship opportunities, panels, talks, activities, headshots, and more throughout the Museum of Science. 


Slicing Pie: Splitting Equity Fairly amongst your Startup Team

DATE: Tuesday, December 9 from 5pm to 7pm

She Builds Boston: brewing bold ideas

This monthly coffee mixer brings together female founders and women in growth mode for real conversations, genuine connections, and community. It’s not a panel or a pitch - just coffee, collaboration, and shared lessons from women actively building and scaling companies. Life Science Hikers - Boston Edition - December Hike

DATE: Sunday, December 14 from 10am - 12pm

Join the Boston Life Science Hikers community for the final 2025 hike, a scenic 4.3-mile loop from Mount Misery to Walden Pond. This relaxed, late-fall outing is a chance to celebrate the season, connect with fellow life science professionals, and enjoy peaceful trails and shoreline views. Bring water, warm layers, and sturdy shoes — and kids and leashed dogs are welcome.


Boston Venture Finance Summit

DATE: Wednesday, December 17, all day

The VenCapital Boston Summit titled “Navigating 2025 Exit Drought” is a gathering of emerging fund managers and allocators.
