June’s Top Startup Events: From BIO Week to Pride Month

It is happening in the New England startup scene this June! The Boston startup scene has a lot of events going on - from celebrating Pride Month to creating events in support of the biotech startup community in New England (and world wide!).


Below we’ve pulled together some of the top startup events that are happening in the Greater Boston and New England area. Check them out below and click here to view all events happening throughout the month of June.


Entrepreneur Or Not?

BIO International Convention

Date: Monday, June 5th - Thursday, June 8th

The BIO International Convention attracts 14,000+ biotechnology and pharma leaders for one week of intensive networking to discover new opportunities and promising partnerships.


2º Brazilian Startup Day

Date: Tuesday, June 6th from 8:00am - 11:30am ET

This event emerged as an initiative of the Brazilian Delegation with the aim of promoting innovation and biotechnology activities by Brazilian startups. For this edition, 8 Brazilian Startups were selected, which will present their business to the targeted public and, later, meet with previously mapped potential investors.


Community Coworking Day at the iHub Haverhill

Date: Wednesday, June 7th from 9:00am - 5:00pm ET

The iHub welcomes entrepreneurs, startups, and small businesses to our monthly Community Coworking Day series. Work in the coworking space, host a team meeting and network with other Merrimack Valley entrepreneurs.


Pride Career Fair

Date: Thursday, June 8th from 9:00am - 12:00pm ET

This special morning program will feature local businesses and organizations that are owned by or support the LGBTQIA+ community and are actively seeking to hire. Come explore expo tables and engage in meaningful conversations with prospective employers. The event will conclude with a thought-provoking panel discussion that will leave you inspired.


Japan Innovation Night

To wrap up the BIO International Convention 2023, come join the CIC Cambridge for the Japan Innovation Night to connect, taste, and experience everything the start-up & innovation ecosystem in Japan has to offer.


Boston MENA Happy Hour
